Wills Bros are seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join our Munster team for a road and civil infrastructure project based in Limerick.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of a significant civil engineering scheme, contributing to regional connectivity and development.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare cost estimates and detailed budgets for all aspects of the road construction project.
* Monitor and manage project costs, including procurement, contracts, and variations.
* Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to senior management.
* Assist with tendering processes and provide cost advice during design and construction phases.
* Ensure compliance with all legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to resolve commercial issues and maintain project timelines.
* Contribute to value engineering and risk management strategies to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
Requirements
* Degree in Quantity Surveying essential.
* 5 years' experience in a similar role within Civil Engineering on road projects.
* Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost control procedures.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
* Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., MS Office, COINS, CostX, AutoCAD, etc.).
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
