Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to support the business across financial reporting month-end close and core accounting processes. This is a hands-on role offering strong exposure to a SME finance function, with opportunities to develop technical expertise, commercial awareness and experience within the adult beverage/FMCG sector.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Assist with the month-end close process, including journals and accruals
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
• Support monthly sales and margin reporting by product, brand, customer and region
• Assist with discount and promotional analysis
• Support product cost analysis
• Assist with intercompany accounting and reconciliations
• Support working capital management, including receivables, payables and inventory
Essential Criteria
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• 1-3 years' post-qualification experience in industry finance
• Experience within FMCG, manufacturing or operations finance
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a small, fast-paced
