CASPs Community Substance Misuse Team (CSMT) is seeking a dedicated Project Worker to join our progressive, community-based organisation in the Mid-West.

What We Offer A 35-hour working week (full-time equivalent) this post is part-time (21 hours) Core office hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am5:30pm Some flexibility in working hours Ongoing professional development and funded training opportunities A chance to work with a dynamic, forward-thinking non-profit Salary based on qualifications and experience What Youll Do Engage with young people, families, and caregivers to build positive, empowering relationships Deliver evidence-based interventions (ACRA, CRAFT, SFP, MI, 5 Step Model, etc.) Support individuals and families through a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach Facilitate and evaluate group programmes Collaborate with statutory, community, and voluntary services Maintain accurate case records and contribute to service development What Were Looking For Relevant 3rd-level qualification in Addiction, Social/Health Care, Community Development, Social Work, Mental Health, or Psychology Minimum 3 years experience in a related field (substance misuse, youth work, community development, etc.) Evidence-based intervention skills Knowledge/experience of problem substance use and community development Experience working with youth and families Team player with interagency collaboration experience Strong IT and data collection skills (Salesforce, HRB Link, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Full clean driving licence with business insurance Desirable (but not essential): Qualification at Level 7 or above on the National Framework in Youth Work or Youth & Community Work Certificates in Drugs Theory & Intervention Skills, Addiction Studies, or Community Drug & Alcohol Work 2+ years outreach experience with the target group If youre committed to supporting young people and families in the Mid-West and want to be part of a dedicated, collaborative team wed love to hear from you.
