Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and creative Internal Communications professional to help design and deliver impactful communication strategies across Lilly's GBS (Global Business Solutions) and wider Finance organisation.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Finance OCM & Internal Communications, you'll be part of a dynamic, multi-faceted team dedicated to connecting colleagues to our company's strategic priorities, strengthening engagement, and delivering clear, relevant, and memorable communications.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on crafting multi-channel campaigns, from concept through delivery, across a range of media – written, video, digital, and in-person – either as a project lead or a collaborative team member.
Responsibilities
Strategic & Creative Communication
Support the planning and execution of internal communications and change initiatives with strategic impact to GBS & Finance.
Translate strategic objectives into clear, engaging messages and campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences.
Provide communication support to senior leaders for key messages, events, and initiatives (e.g., organizational narrative, organizational changes, town halls, site visits, internal conferences, celebrations).
Partner with creative teams to develop multimedia content (videos, podcasts, visuals, print, etc.) that enhance storytelling.
Strategically partner with HR, Compliance, Health & Safety, People Development, and ERGs in the delivery of cultural and operational initiatives that support organizational priorities.
Stakeholder & Capability Building
Build trusted relationships across the GBS and Finance organizations, enhancing the role of internal communications as a trusted and strategic partner to the business.
Guide leaders and stakeholders to ensure clarity and consistency in communication, collaborating where needed with People Development teams in the curation of communication training and toolkits.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
Measure and evaluate the strategic impact of communication outputs and adjust strategies as needed.
Embrace current with trends, tools, and technologies, particularly AI, to enhance communication effectiveness.
Requirements
Essential
3–4 years' experience in communications or related field.
Proven track record in delivering multi-channel communication campaigns with measurable impact.
Degree in Communications, Marketing, or related discipline.
Excellent stakeholder management and storytelling skills, with strong written and verbal communication.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and deliver to tight deadlines.
Strong collaboration skills; comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Understanding of organisational change principles and practices.
Experience using intranets, content management systems, or related tools.
Desirable
Experience within Finance or shared services environment.
Experience producing or presenting multimedia content (e.g., video, podcast).
Experience delivering communication training or workshops.
Event management experience.
