We are currently recruiting a Staff Nurse – Endoscopy for a leading Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.

Job Title: Staff Nurse Department: Endoscopy Contract Type: Permanent Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Full-Time) Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing procedures within the Endoscopy Unit, including pre-procedure, peri-procedure, and post-procedure care.
Manage the care and treatment of elective patients, ensuring optimal clinical standards are maintained at all times.
Assess patient needs and develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in line with best practice guidelines.
Provide safe, comprehensive nursing care with accuracy, efficiency, and minimal supervision.
Participate actively in quality assurance initiatives and adhere to Infection Prevention and Control standards.
Promote and safeguard the safety, health, dignity, confidentiality, and overall wellbeing of patients and their families.
Ensure accurate documentation and secure management of patient records in accordance with hospital policies and relevant legislation.
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless and coordinated patient care.
Practice within the professional scope and standards set by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and hospital policies.
Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to support other clinical areas of the hospital as required.
Requirements Registered in the General Division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
Evidence of ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
Minimum of one year post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting, specifically within an Endoscopy Unit or Theatre environment.
Demonstrated knowledge and clinical competence in endoscopic procedures and the decontamination process.
