Staffline Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Advisor to join our client's technical team. This role will provide expert guidance in Building Physics, Fire Safety, Acoustics, and Energy Efficiency, supporting both internal teams and external construction professionals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in the construction industry, with the ability to offer practical, standards-compliant solutions to a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide technical advice and solutions to architects, specifiers, builders, and merchants.
· Support sales and specification teams with detailed product and system guidance.
· Develop and deliver presentations to industry bodies and customers.
· Use industry tools such as BIM, AutoCAD, U-value calculators, and thermal modelling software to create project-specific information.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
· Undertake site visits to assess requirements and provide tailored solutions.
· Prepare reports on trends, commercial issues, and technical matters.
Skills & Experience Required
· Relevant construction-related qualification.
· Minimum 5 years' technical support experience in the B2B construction sector.
· Strong knowledge of building regulations, safety, and performance standards.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD essential, Revit desirable.
· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
· Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects effectively.
