Job Role:
Sales engineers play a pivotal role in driving business expansion by collaborating with clients to comprehend their needs and developing solutions that meet those requirements. As a sales engineer, you will be accountable for the technical aspects of our sales engagement, ensuring elevated levels of customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall growth of our organization.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain robust relationships with existing and prospective clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
* Collaborate with the sales team and channel partners to identify novel business opportunities and develop strategies to secure deals.
* Act as a bridge between the sales team and core operations, helping to understand client requirements, demonstrate product capabilities, and address solution concerns.
* Manage and coordinate RFQ/RFI responses and proactive sales engagement outside of RFQ/RFI cycles, ensuring consolidated capitalization and maintenance of high-quality, up-to-date RfI/Q/P response and solution positioning repository.
* Provide technical expertise and support during the sales process, including product demonstrations, proof of concept, and solution design.
* Work closely with the product management, engineering, wholesale, and network teams to ensure our solutions meet unique market demands.
* Feed into solution architects to design technical solutions that effectively address client and prospect needs.
* Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and proofs-of-concept to showcase the value and capabilities of our offerings.
* Provide valuable feedback and insight from client interactions to help shape product roadmaps, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to the development of new features or enhancements.
* Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to ensure we remain at the forefront of innovation.
* Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to represent our organization and promote our solutions.
* Contribute to the creation of whitepapers and market positioning content published as part of our thought leadership community.
Requirements:
* At least 7 years of experience in a sales engineering role in Telecommunications, Automotive, or IoT industry.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Deep understanding of the Automotive market, specifically focusing on the role of connectivity.
* Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field is desirable but not necessary.
