Job Title: Site Project Manager
Overview of the Role:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. A successful applicant will have excellent leadership skills, be able to communicate effectively, and demonstrate a high level of analytical and problem-solving ability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and supervise a multidisciplinary team, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and that projects are delivered on time.
* Act as the primary point of contact for client meetings, preparing and documenting project coordination reports.
* Oversee PSDP & PSCS duties, ensuring adherence to HSQE standards and fostering a culture of safety and innovation.
* Develop construction programmes, monitor progress and update weekly/monthly schedules.
* Manage procurement of materials and equipment, reviewing project costs and reporting regularly.
* Maintain site documentation (method statements, audits, signage, reports), preparing technical and progress reports for internal and client use.
* Plan and oversee commissioning, validation and process proving, ensuring timely completion of safety files and handover documentation.
* Maintain proactive communication with ER and site RE staff, promoting collaboration and problem-solving.
* Coordinate environmental and ecology requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in the wastewater industry, preferably as a Project Manager.
* Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
* Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
* Analytical and problem-solving ability with a focus on practical solutions.
* Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Commitment to continuous learning and innovation in the water/wastewater sector.
