The business works closely with major contractors and infrastructure projects across Ireland, providing specialist solutions to large-scale developments.
With a growing focus on sustainability and environmental responsibility, the company is investing heavily in strengthening its Environmental, Health & Safety function.
They are now seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Manager to lead compliance, environmental initiatives, and safety standards across the organisation.
The Candidate: Our client is looking for: * A candidate with strong Environmental, Health & Safety experience, ideally within construction, engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environments * A professional with a significant focus on environmental compliance, sustainability, and environmental management systems * A relevant Health & Safety or Environmental qualification * Strong knowledge of Irish H&S legislation and environmental regulations * Experience implementing and improving EHS policies, procedures, and environmental initiatives * A confident communicator capable of working with senior management, site teams, and external stakeholders The Role: The successful candidate will be primarily based in the Dublin office with occasional visits to project and client sites across Ireland.
Responsibilities include: * Leading and managing the company's Environmental, Health & Safety strategy, with a strong focus on environmental performance * Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, sustainability targets, and statutory safety requirements * Developing and implementing EHS policies, procedures, and environmental management systems * Conducting audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews across the business * Working closely with project and operations teams to ensure safe and environmentally responsible practices are maintained * Supporting environmental reporting, monitoring performance metrics, and driving continuous improvement initiatives * Delivering training, guidance, and support to staff to strengthen environmental and safety awareness * Visiting client and project sites periodically to ensure compliance and best practice standards are maintained The Package: * Salary: €60,000 - €70,000 per annum * Company pension scheme * Mileage allowance for site visits * Opportunity to lead and develop environmental initiatives within a growing organisation Location: Dublin (mainly office-based with occasional site visits) BMS Performance specialises in recruiting Engineering professionals nationally.
