We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect / Tech Lead for a high-impact contract role delivering scalable, cloud-native solutions within the General Insurance domain.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong architectural ownership combined with active full-stack engineering across Angular, and AWS.
This is a hyrbid role based in the city centre ona daily rate contract.
You will:
Own end-to-end solution architecture (C4 models, HLD/LLD)
Lead technical delivery and provide engineering direction
Design and build modern, containerised applications on AWS (ECS/Fargate)
Define CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code and NFR standards
Drive integration across policy, underwriting and booking systems
Ensure solutions meet regulatory, security and performance requirements
What We're Looking For
10–15 years' total IT experience
5+ years in Architecture / Solution Design
3+ years in a Tech Lead capacity
Strong hands-on expertise in:
Angular
AWS (ECS/Fargate preferred)
Proven experience across the General Insurance booking lifecycle (Quote, Bind, MTA, Renewal)
Experience delivering production-grade, cloud-native systems
Nice to Have
