Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the MEP Design and Delivery process for multiple projects at various stages, with a focus on detailed design.
* Serve as the primary liaison between Clients, Design Partners, Contractors, and internal teams on all MEP-related issues.
* Coordinate the integration of Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health Engineering disciplines.
* Conduct project workshops and design reviews, providing expert advice and ensuring outputs align with local building regulations, CIBSE guidance, and recognized sustainability standards such as BREEAM.
* Monitor budgets, programmes, and resource allocation, providing clear updates on performance and risks to both internal leadership and external stakeholders.
* Review and critique technical drawings, specifications, and related design deliverables to maintain quality and accuracy.
* Support business development by contributing to proposal preparation, assisting with bid submissions, and representing the company in client presentations.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* A degree in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or another relevant field.
* Significant experience (5+ years) overseeing MEP design and delivery for construction projects.
* In-depth knowledge of local building practices, regulatory frameworks, and industry benchmarks.
* Demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage teams, and build strong client relationships.
* Proficiency with design and coordination tools, including AutoCAD, Revit (MEP), Navisworks, Revizto, and ACC.
* Professional registration with CIBSE, IMechE, or IET is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Highly organized, with strong problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication.
* Background in data centres or mission-critical environments is required.
