Digital Transformation Manager - IT Planning and GRC
Our IT Planning dept looks after all IT Strategic planning, Digital & Technology initiatives including Governance oversight, budget management, policies and procedure, roadmaps and gives regular updates to the exec.
We are not looking for a VP of IT to drive their digital journey and lead strategic IT planning, digital transformation governance and technology risk oversight.
While they have implemented some digital solutions – Docusign, RPA initiatives they want a candidate to take ownership of digital and ensure they are getting the most of the solutiosn and investigate the new offerings – AI, CoPilot, et.
The IT VP – Digital Transformation, IT Planning and Governance will lead strategic IT planning, digital transformation governance, and technology risk oversight. The role ensures IT investment, cybersecurity priorities, and digital initiatives are aligned with organisational objectives, while promoting strong governance, cost transparency, and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate must have Digital Change Leadership background with experience
• Microsoft (Power BI, SharePoint, Lists etc.) & Robotic Process Automation tools and AI.
• Familiarity with IT Governance and frameworks.
• IT Budget and IT Roadmap experience to ensure good supervision of delivery of projects.
This role has two sides
Enable Digital Initiatives
- drive the digital agenda, bring people on the digital journey, Influence people, show them the benefits, ensure adaption.
Review the "As-Is" and give some recommendation as to the "to-be".
They have a number of apps / platforms but could they use it better – Are they getting the best out of them ?
• Advocate digital culture – Be the "Go to" Digital person & Drive digital initiatives
• Lead better product utilisation
• Measure and report on benefits of digital tools
PMO – Governance, Oversight, Updates /& Reporting
1. Oversee alignment to regulatory requirements and other guidelines
2. Prepare reports/contents for monthly / quarterly steering committee and board meetings - including Investment Planning and Budget planning
3. Develop and maintain IT policies, standards, and procedures.
4. Support IT resource and organisational planning.
5. Support IT GRC activities, including audits, risk documentation, and control effectiveness.
6. Manage system deployment/change control processes and approvals.
7. Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
