Home and Away are recruiting Homecare Assistants - in West Cork including - Bandon/Timoleague/Enniskean/Clonakilty
We provide Homecare to vulnerable people of all ages. Our HCAs assist with Personal care, medication prompting, companionship, assistance with mobility and transfers, light house hold duties including meal preparation.
Ideal Candidate requirements:
* full clean driver's license and a car
* at least 1 years experience working as a Healthcare Assistant in Homecare/Hospital or a Nursing home setting.
* QQI level 5 qualification in Homecare Support in at least 2 modules - Care Skills and Care of the Elderly or equivalent, or be willing to start a course.
* Compassionate, Reliable and Enthusiastic.
* Available to work between 20 and 35 hours/week
* Available to work 1:2 or 1:3 weekends
An up to date CV with your application, would be helpful, specifically detailing your Qualifications in Homecare Support and your Experience in formal work as a Homecare/Healthcare Assistant,
