Contract Type: 2-year Fixed Term (with potential for permanent placement)
To meet the requirements of Dublin Aerospace’s growth strategy over the next few years we are seeking to recruit an Assistant Estimator Graduate. This role will be based onsite at Dublin Airport, Co. Dublin. The successful candidate will assist with our Estimator to provide estimates for Base Maintenance activities and other business units from time to time. They will be a highly motivated person with a Technical or Planning background.
Reporting to the Estimator the key responsibilities will include:
* Estimation - Provide estimates based on customer supplied work scope
* Prepare proposals for review
* Provide Estimates for the additions/ deletions to the contracted work scope as identified by the Planners
* Prioritise on deadlines for estimates unless advised otherwise
* Maintenance and upkeep of the MPD data
* Assist as required in the day-to-day operations as dictated by the Estimator
* Weekly update of the status of proposals
* Continuous update of the Request for Quote (RFQ) register
* Occasional travel may be required
* Be prepared to undertake other duties as may be reasonably assigned by the Company from time to time.
KNOWLEDGE / KEY SKILL REQUIREMENTS
* Holds a Level 7+ Aeronautical Engineering qualification or similar aviation-based qualification graduated between 2021-2025.
* Advanced knowledge of technical data to include MPD, AMM, SRM, SB’s, AD’s SL’s CN’s etc.
* Aircraft Maintenance experience and knowledge of Part 145 required
* Experienced and knowledgeable in Base Maintenance functions and practices
* Strong IT skills with excellent understanding of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* Methodical with strong attention to detail
* Ability to manage and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
* Ability to work on own initiative, be self-motivated and flexible in their approach to work
* Ability to work within a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Fluency in English, both spoken and written
* Be able to pass a 5-year security background check
* Permitted to live and work in the Republic of Ireland without restriction.
