About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for developing detailed and accurate estimates for mechanical engineering works based on outline drawings and specifications.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop detailed and accurate estimates for mechanical engineering works based on outline drawings and specifications
* Evaluate buildability, material selection, innovative solutions, and cost-effectiveness in design development process
* Prioritize tendering activities to ensure that the most cost-effective solutions are proposed in collaboration with cross-functional teams
* Prepare procurement plans identifying suppliers and subcontractors by negotiating terms, conditions, and discount levels
