Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: Dublin Region An established construction business with a strong project pipeline is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in the commercial delivery of major projects across the Dublin region.
This is an opportunity for a commercially driven professional who enjoys ownership, responsibility, and working as part of a collaborative project team.
The Role You will take full commercial responsibility for projects from pre-contract through to final account, working closely with site, procurement, and senior management teams.
Responsibilities will include: Managing project valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts Monitoring cost control, forecasting, and cash flow Coordinating and administering sub-contract packages Reviewing and interpreting contract documentation Managing commercial risks, variations, and contractual records Supporting procurement and pricing activities Providing accurate commercial reporting to senior stakeholders Leading, mentoring, and developing junior members of the commercial team About You 7+ years experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally with a main contractor Strong project experience across Residential, Commercial, or Civil Engineering works Chartered or working towards chartership (SCSI or equivalent) Commercially astute with strong contractual knowledge Confident communicator able to engage with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams Comfortable taking ownership and driving commercial outcomes Whats on Offer Competitive salary reflecting experience Vehicle or travel allowance Pension, life insurance, and income protection Laptop and mobile phone Ongoing professional development and support Long-term role within a stable business with a strong pipeline of work The Culture This is a business that values professionalism, collaboration, and trust, offering its people autonomy, career progression, and exposure to high-quality projects.
