Electrical Engineer (Power Generation & Utilities)

* Large-scale flexible peaking plants providing grid support when renewables are not available
* Embedded renewables

Position Summary
NeoDyne are recruiting a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our expanding Power Generation & Energy Systems team. Experience with Peaking, CCGT, CHP Plants or Embedded Renewables would be highly desirable but not essential as we will provide full training.
This position offers flexibility in location and can be based near our office locations: Cork or Dublin. The role is offered as a full-time staff position, with an excellent Salary and Benefits package. Key Responsibilities
* Designing electrical control systems and instrumentation for power generation and energy systems.
* Developing detailed schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
* Producing drawings, wiring schematics, lists and data sheets using AutoCAD and EPLAN.
* Developing PLC and SCADA software for control and monitoring systems.
* Overseeing the installation of control systems and instrumentation equipment.
* Collaborating with technicians and contractors to ensure proper implementation.
* Undertaking Factory and Site Acceptance Testing.
* Commissioning of control systems in the field.
Experience & Skills
Required
* Level 8 Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
* 3+ years’ experience in electrical or automation engineering.
* Knowledge of process instrumentation and wiring.
* Experience with control networks and communications systems (Profibus, Modbus, DeviceNet).
* Knowledge and experience in the Energy sector would be advantageous but not essential.
