We are seeking an Analyst / recent graduate to join our Global Markets team supporting our Digital & Liquid Trading business.
This role will provide exposure to a wide range of trading products with a particular focus on EUR interest rate swaps, funding, capital management and electronic execution.
The successful candidate will support trading activity, contribute to project work, and assist with data analysis, reporting, and operational processes.
The role is designed to provide hands-on experience and build core skills in a fast-paced market environment.
Key Responsibilities Assist with trade execution, pricing, and risk management across EUR swaps and related products Support Money Market and funding desk and in daily operation and funding of the trading business Work on data analysis and reporting to support trading decisions and performance monitoring Support the onboarding of new European clients and introduce them to our product suite Contribute to the development and improvement of digital trading tools and workflows Liaise with technology, risk, and operations teams to ensure accurate trade capture and compliance Support the team's growth efforts in the EU region through analysis, research, and project work Required Skills & Experience Recently completed (or near completion of) a degree in finance, economics, engineering, maths or a related field Strong analytical and numerical skills; comfortable working with financial data Interest in markets and understanding of fixed income and derivatives Proficiency in Excel; exposure to Python or other programming languages is a plus Ability to prioritise, manage tasks, and work well under pressure Strong communication and teamwork skills What We Offer Direct exposure to trading desks and market activity On-the-job training and development support Opportunity to work on high-impact projects supporting EU growth strategy Fast learning environment with access to senior team members Working Conditions The role is full time, five days per week, based in the Dublin office of BME There may be very occasional travel required to other offices within the bank.
