Member Service Officer - various- Clane, Coill Dubh,Reporting to: Team Leader, Member ServicesDuration : 12 month contractStart Date: ImmediatelyThis is a FULL TIME position - (includes Saturday working on rota basis)Key Duties and Responsibilities:Dealing with member services transactions, such as lodgements, withdrawals, loan payout etc. as required.Dealing with the filing of all paperwork, photocopying, scanning etc. as required.Balancing own batch on a daily basis.Processing of loan applications received from members (subject to relevant qualification)Managing the workflow of loan applications, contacting members with deferred/approved loans not drawn down, etc.Opening of new accounts as required.Foreign currency transactionsDealing with member queries on any Credit Union related matter.Co-operation with manager in the development and/or implementation of new technology or servicesAct as a cheque signatory within prescribed limits.To attend training programmes and workshops as required by the credit union.To be aware of and be compliant with various legislation and regulations governing Credit Union operations.To be aware of and comply with all Health & Safety regulations as directed by the credit union.To undertake such other reasonable and lawful duties as may be directed from time to time by the manager.Requirements:Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualificationQFA or willingness to pursueExcellent numerical skillsGood PC SkillsMinimum of 12 months working in a customer-facing environmentExperience working in a cash environment is desirable but not essentialCustomer Focused, with a friendly and professional mannerAbility to perform under pressure and work on own initiativeExcellent attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsFlexibility / Ability to multitask and prioritize workExcellent team playerJob Types: Full-time, Fixed termBenefits:Additional leaveBike to work schemeCompany pensionEmployee assistance programSick payApplication question(s):What are your salary expectations?Do you hold a QFA or are you willing to pursue?Experience:customer facing: 1 year (required)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: In person
