Responsibilities
* Deliver a warm, friendly welcome to all guests and ensure top-tier customer service throughout their visit.
* Maintain punctuality and present yourself in full, clean uniform at the start of each shift.
* Supervise bar operations, ensuring the team delivers high standards of service and cleanliness at all times.
* Prepare the bar for service, including restocking, setting up stations, and ensuring all areas are clean and tidy.
* Have thorough knowledge of all drink products, cocktail ingredients, food menus, daily specials, and allergens.
* Accurately handle customer orders, payments, and receipts, ensuring all charges are signed and correctly recorded.
* Take the lead on stock control, ordering, waste management, and regular stock takes.
* Provide guidance, on-the-job training, and support to junior bartenders, identifying any training needs.
* Ensure all EHO and food hygiene standards are met, including fridge cleanliness and allergen awareness.
* Oversee end-of-shift closing procedures and ensure full preparation for the next service.
* Attend required training sessions and comply with all Health & Safety and emergency protocols.
* Be knowledgeable about hotel services and able to provide guests with accurate information.
Ideal Candidate:
* 2+ years experience as a Bartender is required.
* A positive attitude with a genuine passion for the hospitality industry.
* Excellent knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and food service
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Team player with the ability to multi task and a fine eye for detail.
* An authentic people person who can deliver exceptional customer service with confidence and professionalism.
* Ability to take the initiative and demonstrate working independently while handling multiple responsibilities and following up on queries and inquiries as part of a daily routine.
* Level headed with strong problem-solving skills and a natural ability to think creatively and find innovative solutions to problems.
* Fluent English.
* Have full permission or hold a valid visa to work in the EU.
* Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. This is a Full Time position.
