Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Job Description
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. The position will be in the Herbertstown Co. Limerick area. The aim of this programme is to provide you with the opportunity of acquiring knowledge in the area of childcare whilst gaining experience working in a Childcare Setting.
Duties
The duties include the following:
* Supervision of children indoors, outdoors and in sleep rooms.
* Recording daily information relating to children.
* Physical care of children.
* Preparation and carry-through of activities.
* Providing responsive care of children.
You will achieve a Level 5 QQI (FETAC) Childcare qualification which will enable you to obtain employment in childcare.
