Planning LeadHyperscale Data CentreDublin, IrelandGeneral ContractorPermanent PositionReporting into theRegional Planning Manager, thePlanning Leadplays a key role in developing, coordinating, and maintaining project schedulesandcontrol systemstoensure efficient project execution.This position calls for ahighly analyticalandorganized professionalwithstrong technical and communication skills, capable ofdriving proactive planning, risk mitigation, and performance trackingacross all project stages.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and oversee comprehensive master schedules and project control frameworks for active projects.Produce detailed progress updates, dashboards, and performance reports for senior leadership.Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and partners to review progress, assess risks, and implement timely corrective actions.Define and manage resource allocation and scheduling requirements throughout pre-construction, construction, and commissioning phases.Build and maintain progress-tracking systems and performance measurement tools to ensure delivery milestones are achieved.Analyse schedule variances and recommend strategies to maintain or recover project timelines.Represent the Planning function in client, contractor, and stakeholder meetings, clearly communicating project timelines, risks, and updates.Contribute to account management and business development by fostering strong, long-term client partnerships.Take responsibility for assigned projects while supporting other planning initiatives as required.Ensure all planning and scheduling practices align with company standards and support continuous process improvement.Key RequirementsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.At least 6 years of relevant experience in construction planning or project controls, ideally within a main contracting organization.Proven track record on complex, large-scale projects — experience in data centres or advanced manufacturing environments is advantageous.Thorough understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and schedule management principles.Proficiency with Primavera P6 and/or Asta Powerproject; experience using BIM or digital planning tools is a strong plus.Strong analytical mindset with solid knowledge of programming techniques and productivity benchmarks.Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of simplifying and explaining complex scheduling concepts.Comfortable working within strict deadlines and adapting to dynamic project conditions.Commercially aware, with an understanding of contracts and project management fundamentals.
