Role Overview
The Quality Technician supports quality compliance in a regulated medical device manufacturing environment, ensuring GMP and regulatory standards are met.
The role assists with day-to-day manufacturing through routine quality activities, monitoring in-process and environmental controls, and maintaining quality documentation and investigations.
Shift Pattern
Fixed non-rotational night shift: 12-hour shift (7pm–7am) every Friday to Sunday and alternate Thursdays, following a repeating 4-on/3-off – 3-on/4-off schedule.
Total 14 days worked in each 28-day cycle.
Responsibilities
Support quality activities including Change Orders, Nonconformance Events, Nonconforming Material Reports, investigations, and disposition of nonconforming materials.
Collect manufacturing and inspection data, perform inspections, and provide daily quality support to manufacturing, production, and inspection teams.
Ensure compliance with internal procedures and external standards (GMP, GLP, ISO, Six Sigma, FDA, MDSAP) while maintaining audit-ready practices.
Maintain and update quality assurance procedures, protocols, and methods to meet safety, quality, regulatory, and global distribution requirements.
Execute routine line audits and support implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
Read and interpret specifications, inspection criteria, and engineering drawings; communicate process, environmental, health or safety concerns to management.
Assist with training and mentoring of junior technicians, when required.
Qualifications
4–6years of experience in a medical device or similarly regulated manufacturing environment.
Minimum Level6 diploma or certificate in a related field.
Knowledge of ISO*****, 21CFRPart11, 21CFR820, and other applicable standards.
Experience with change orders, nonconformance investigations, and CAPA activities.
Experience in continuous improvement projects and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis.
Familiarity with manufacturing systems such as MES, ERP, or QMS applications.
Ability to work independently on a night shift pattern while collaborating within cross-functional teams.
