We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, this full-time permanent position requires extensive knowledge of engineering suppliers and supply chain network management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analysis and optimization of the Supply Chain.
* Material planning and procurement.
* Purchasing and follow-up of materials, subcontractors, and services.
* General administration of purchase orders, subcontract operations, sales orders, receipting, invoicing, stock adjustments, etc.
* Collaboration with suppliers, including site visits as necessary.
* Communication with internal and external parties.
* Inventory level optimization.
* Complaint resolution.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in purchasing, preferably in an engineering company.
* A recognized qualification in a related field.
* Experience in engineering/manufacturing environments is advantageous.
* Strong negotiation, IT, analytical, and organizational skills.
* Advanced skills with formulas and complex financial spreadsheets in MS Excel.
* Material planning and contract management expertise using ERP systems.
