Job Title: Project Cost Manager
About the Role:
As a skilled Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by coordinating with project management and other departments. Your expertise will be invaluable in evaluating quotations, preparing payment applications, and optimizing purchasing decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluate quotations obtained from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure quantities and specifications align with tender and project requirements.
* Prepare payment applications and negotiate with clients.
* Identify changes from AFC and Tender drawings, and prepare variations for submission.
* Perform material take-offs, report irregularities, and maintain accurate tracking data.
* Examine and control sub-contractor invoices, ensuring contractual obligations are satisfied.
Requirements:
* 2+ years of experience in a QS role.
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline.
* HVAC or mechanical experience is desirable.
