Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager role based at Dylan Hotel Dublin. The Sales Manager will lead the development and execution of sales strategies to drive room bookings, events, and corporate business, with a focus on key segments. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing a portfolio of accounts, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, preparing proposals, conducting site inspections, and negotiating contracts that align with hotel revenue goals. The role involves close collaboration with revenue management, marketing, front office, and F&B teams to optimize occupancy, rate, and overall profitability while maintaining brand positioning. The Sales Manager will also be responsible for sales reporting, forecasting, participation in industry events and trade shows, and ensuring every client interaction reflects the hotel’s five-star, highly personalized service standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience in hotel or hospitality sales, with a track record of achieving revenue and occupancy targets, ideally in a luxury or boutique environment.
Strong skills in account management, business development, and relationship building with corporate, leisure, and event clients.
Ability to plan and execute sales strategies, prepare tailored proposals, and conduct professional site visits and client presentations.
Competence in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and use of CRM or hotel sales systems, along with solid MS Office skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to represent the hotel confidently at meetings, events, and trade shows.
Strong organizational and time-management capabilities, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple inquiries and events simultaneously.
Collaborative mindset and ability to work closely with operations, revenue, and marketing teams to deliver cohesive guest and client experiences.
