The Montenotte is a luxury boutique hotel located in Cork, featuring 107 guestrooms and suites, 26 self‑catering residences, a Woodland Suite Experience, landscaped garden, private cinema, spa, and health club.
We are now looking for an experienced full‑time Front Office Manager to lead our Front Office team. The role reports to the House Manager, who oversees Reception, Nights, Concierge and Porters.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the Front Office department and work closely with the House Manager.
Develop and direct the Front Office team to maintain high service standards.
Coordinate all front desk activities and manage room allocations, reservations and front desk communication.
Ensure compliance with Financial Standard Operating Procedures and LQA Service Standards.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives and set new departmental standards.
Ensure reception and night team members deliver duties to agreed standards.
Liaise with Housekeeping, Maintenance and other departments to attend guest requests and facility needs.
Recruit, train, develop, and manage the Front Office and Nights team.
Produce and operate reception rosters, covering absences as per standards.
Adhere to health & safety, GDPR and sustainability protocols.
Lead, inspire, monitor the reception team through regular engagement, meetings and participation in hotel functions.

Required Skills and Experience

People Management experience.
Guest Relations expertise.
High attention to detail.
Fluency in English.
Experience with Hotsoft, TablePath, and Snapfix is preferable.
Experience as a Reception or Front Office Manager in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel.
