It is part of BCM Global, a prominent European independent mortgage, real estate, and commercial loan servicer expert in providing innovative financial services.BCMGlobal is part of LC Financial Holdings which is one of Europe's premier investors and managers of alternative credit, operating in 10 markets with 1,900 employees.What you'll doThe Asset Manager will be involved in the following activities:Supporting the Senior Asset Manager to ensure the effective operation of the team with the aim of ensuring the assets and loans are managed in line with the agreed strategic aim.On a day-to-day basis and in consultation with the Senior Asset Manager, the Asset Manager will develop client strategies to maximise recoveries on the assigned portfolio. The successful candidate will also ensure that all legislative, credit policies and best practice guidelines are incorporated into day-to-day operations on cases.Position BCM as a client focused organisation and consistently demonstrate a customer focused mindset. Ensure fair and transparent treatment of customers in all activities.Responsibility for approximately c.100 borrower connections requiring effective and efficient management, ensuring that actions are in line with all relevant internal and/or legislative policies (as well as Private Equity client requirements) in order to deliver agreed goals.Conduct due diligence on the portfolio/Connections and assist in formulating the optimal strategy for maximising loan recovery.Proactive management of underlying assets securing loans, including implementation of strategies for debt recovery and ongoing management of secured assets in a timely fashion.Drafting succinct credit applications for discussion and review.Assisting Senior Asset Manager / Senior Manager in the organisation of borrower meetings and act as point of contact for borrower, their advisors and our client.Ensuring all MI systems are kept up to date and accurate at all times and delivery of accurate and robust MI as required by our client.Ensure speedy responses to general queries raised.Ability to identify and deal with property related issues as they arise.Assisting Senior Asset Manager / Senior Manager in the organisation of borrower meetings and act as point of contact for borrower, their advisors, and our client.Maintenance and delivery of accurate and robust MI.Implement all Link Compliance procedures across the assigned connections.Manage borrower / professional meetings and act as point of contact for any escalation of issues from clients, financial advisors, and other advisors.What You'll Bring (Knowledge & Experience)Essential:APA or QFA qualificationExperience in banking/financial services industry with in-depth knowledge of SME/CPC/CCMA codes.Experience in reviewing loan and security documentation.Strong financial analysis skills with ability to review; understand and interpret audited financial accounts, management accounts and financial forecasts.Effective communicator, influencer, and negotiator, able to communicate at all levels – important that you are comfortable discussing case strategy and rationale with our Private Equity client.Demonstrate an organised approach to work, and an ability to prioritise to ensure critical tasks are delivered accurately.Proficiency in the use of Microsoft packages.Desirable:Third level qualification.Experience in managing cases through the insolvency process; incorporating liquidation, receivership and examinership would be a distinct advantageAbility to optimise strategies with reference to underlying values and property market trends.Experience in credit analysis and associated loan documentation, coupled with a strong background in managing complex problem cases.Experience of working in a client facing role and of negotiating with borrowers and their advisorsWhat You'll Bring (Skills & Competencies)Essential:Excellent numeracy skills combined with an inquiring, analytical mind.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent teamwork and leadership skills.Excellent time management and organisational skills.Commercial awareness.Attention to detail and the ability to work logically, consistently, and accurately.Ability to work in a pressurised environment with regular deadlinesAbility to work with minimal supervisionResults focusedTechnical awarenessDesirable:Leadership and performanceCustomer serviceTeam working as well as ability to work on own initiativeRisk and conduct managementRegulatory awarenessWhat we offer:This role is offered on a 12-Month FTC basisA fair and inclusive recruitment process.A supportive and friendly work environment with talented colleagues.Competitive benefits including matched pension, life assurance, enhanced parental leave, and more.A flexible and blended working culture that supports your wellbeing and development.A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, where everyone is valued and respected.The opportunity to be part of a growing business with ambitious plans and a strong market reputation.***We are an inclusive employer whose people work collaboratively.
