The Opportunity
We’re working with a PE-backed Pharma Services platform in Ireland that is actively pursuing a buy-and-build strategy. This is a hands-on, execution-focused M&A role, reporting into a wider M&A team, and ideal for a corporate development or transaction advisory professional looking to step into an industry-facing role. You will gain broad exposure to the full deal lifecycle, including deal execution, due diligence, SPA negotiation, and post-deal integration, helping to drive the company’s growth strategy.
Responsibilities
* Support execution of acquisitions, including LOI preparation, SPA negotiation, and due diligence coordination.
* Conduct market and industry research, identifying acquisition opportunities and sector trends.
* Prepare financial models, valuations, and investment papers to support decision-making.
* Collaborate with internal and external teams, including advisors, finance, legal, and operations.
* Contribute to integration planning and post-deal performance tracking.
* Provide commercial input on deal strategy, structure, and terms to maximise value.
Your Profile
* Degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
* 3–6 years’ experience in M&A, corporate development, or transaction advisory.
* Strong track record of deal execution in fast-paced environments, including experience with LOIs, SPAs, financial due diligence, and integration.
* Excellent financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills.
* Commercially minded, proactive, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Fluent English; other European languages a plus but not required.
