We are seeking an experienced and highly organised General Manager to lead our Dublin team and play a central role in maintaining our reputation for excellence.
Role Overview
The General Manager will oversee all day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring smooth management of sales, staff, suppliers, finances, and client experience.
This position is hands-on and requires strong leadership, commercial acumen, and a passion for luxury retail and fine jewellery.
Responsibilities
Oversee all sales activity and ensure a premium client experience.
Actively participate in client consultations and bespoke design sales.
Monitor KPIs and sales performance, implementing strategies to meet targets.
Maintain deep product knowledge to support the sales team and clients.
Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to achieve individual and collective goals.
Manage staff scheduling, performance reviews, recruitment, and training.
Foster a positive, professional, and client-focused workplace culture.
Oversee bookkeeping, budgeting, and daily financial operations.
Ensure accurate financial reporting and assist in planning and forecasting.
Maintain inventory records and manage diamond, gemstone, and jewellery stock.
Manage relationships with suppliers, workshops, and service providers.
Coordinate bespoke orders, production timelines, and quality control.
Negotiate pricing and ensure timely delivery of materials and final pieces.
Marketing & Social Media
Oversee social media presence and content strategy to reflect the brand's luxury positioning.
Collaborate on marketing initiatives, events, promotions, and brand partnerships.
Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
General Management Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and health & safety standards.
Improve and maintain operational processes for efficiency and quality.
Handle escalated client issues with professionalism and discretion.
Contribute to strategic planning and long-term business development.
Required Experience & Skills
Minimum 5 years' experience in the luxury retail sector (fine jewellery experience highly desirable).
Proven leadership and staff management experience.
Strong sales background with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Excellent organisational and financial administration skills.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
High attention to detail and commitment to delivering a premium client experience.
Proficiency in social media management and basic digital marketing is an advantage.
Working Hours
Full-time, 5 days per week between Monday and Saturday (schedule to be agreed).
