Arcadis DPS Engineering are seeking a Mechanical Facilities Technician for a Pharmaceutical assignment located in Ringaskiddy, Cork.
This is initially a 12-month contract.
Responsibilities
Maintain and support mechanical systems including water systems chilled water, condensate, towns water, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, steam distribution, low-pressure hot water and door management.
Support WWTP operations by maintaining mechanical assets such as pumps, mixers, pipework, and related systems.
Conduct routine inspections, preventatives, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical systems.
Support mechanical system upgrades, modifications, and project activities.
Oversee the maintenance of drainage systems, sprinkler systems, and safety-related equipment.
Collaborate with teams to support infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with GMP and safety standards.
Maintain documentation and records of maintenance activities, system performance, and compliance.
Ensure all activities uphold environmental and safety regulations, including GMP, EHS, and local standards.
Perform all other activities as required to uphold operational efficiency and safety.
Qualifications
Trade qualification or Mechanical Engineering qualification.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in facilities/utilities management within GMP or regulated environments.
Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems including chillers, boilers, process piping, and utilities distribution.
Strong troubleshooting abilities for mechanical equipment.
Good communication and team collaboration skills.
