A high‑growth, private equity–backed healthcare group is seeking an exceptional Interim Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance function through a pivotal period of expansion, optimisation, and M&A execution. This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Ireland for the duration of the assignment.
The Opportunity
You’ll be stepping into a dynamic, multi‑site SME environment backed by a highly successful PE sponsor with a strong track record of scaling multi‑site assets. The business is experiencing rapid organic growth and has a well‑developed acquisition pipeline, making this a critical leadership role at a transformative moment.
Provide hands‑on leadership of a lean finance function, ensuring robust financial control, reporting, and forecasting.
Partner closely with the CEO and PE investors to drive performance, cash discipline, and value creation.
Lead financial integration and due diligence workstreams across an active M&A pipeline.
Strengthen systems, processes, and financial governance to support scale.
Act as a strategic advisor to the Board, bringing clarity, challenge, and commercial insight.
Ensure the finance team is equipped, aligned, and operating at pace in a multi‑site environment.
We’re looking for a CFO who thrives in fast‑moving, hands‑on environments and brings a proven track record of delivering in PE‑backed or leveraged‑growth settings.
Essential experience includes
Multi‑site SME leadership – ideally in healthcare, retail, hospitality, services, or similar operationally complex sectors.
Private equity exposure or experience executing a leveraged M&A strategy.
Demonstrable success leading lean finance teams, improving processes, and building scalable financial infrastructure.
Strong commercial acumen, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to operate with pace and precision.
Full‑time presence in Ireland, Monday to Friday, for the duration of the assignment.
