Key Responsibilities
Serve customers at the trade counter in a professional and friendly manner
Advise customers on power tools, hardware, machinery and DIY products
Process sales, including cash and card transactions
Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked trade counter
Assist with stock control, deliveries and goods-in
Answer phone and email enquiries
Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations
Candidate Requirements
Customer-focused with strong communication skills
Reliable, proactive and able to work well in a team
Willingness to learn about tools, hardware and machinery (full training provided)
Basic computer skills (email, Word, Excel)
Previous retail, trade counter or sales experience an advantage but not essential
