ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with internal and external ICT providers and vendors for technical management and support.Actively resolve IT operational issues onboard vessels and contribute technical expertise to various maritime IT projects.Ensure business continuity by maintaining stable and reliable vessel IT equipment, services, and satellite communications.Provide IT support and high-quality services across all managed vessels.Conduct comprehensive evaluations of systems, applications, and processes under the guidance of the Fleet IT Manager, identifying cybersecurity risks and management gaps.Collaborate openly with the Fleet IT Manager on the implementation of updated cybersecurity methods and policies.Install, test, maintain, and support all onboard hardware and applications.Build and maintain fleet-wide databases, ensuring documentation and system logs are up to date.RequirementsPractical knowledge and hands‑on experience in configuring firewalls and managed switches.Experience in Windows Server administration, VMware, and virtualization environments.Strong logical thinking, analytical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality and deadlines.Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to support decision‑making based on sound judgment.Clear, confident communication skills (both verbal and written) to ensure professionalism and reliability.Flexibility to work extended hours and travel when required.(Preferred but not mandatory) Experience in vessel IT application management, database administration, cybersecurity operations, incident management, and satellite communication systems (VSAT, L‑Band, LEO).Additional NoteCandidates willing to perform onboard and hands‑on tasks are highly preferred. However, we welcome applicants with solid practical experience in vessel IT operations.
