Overview of the role
The successful candidate will liaise with sales, operations, administration and finance in their day-to-day role. The purpose of the role is to complete office administration and general support to sales personnel and operations in the South Region/Fermoy.
Duties of the Role
* Support and assist Sales Team in field sales, account management, after-sales service and customer support.
* Assist with quotations and preparation of presentations.
* Take ownership of supplier issues and concerns, including operational issues, pricing/invoice queries.
* Perform office-based administrative duties for the Sales Admin/Operations teams.
* Coordinate between internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Ensure customers receive best possible service levels.
* Maintain and manage customer databases and operate CRM systems.
* Initiate best practices and standards in providing administrative assistance to sales and operations staff.
* Provide regular reports to clients and line manager.
* Operate all company service programme management systems.
* Cooperate with company health and safety policies and initiatives.
Required Skills
* 2 to 3 years of proven office administrative experience, preferably in a service-related industry; ideally serving the pharmaceutical or chemical industry.
* Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of performing to a high level with energy, drive and a strong ability to implement continuous improvements.
* Computer literate – must have the ability to use Microsoft and Google Applications.
* Problem solving in a timely and friendly manner with due respect to the customer at all times.
* Motivated and ambitious self-starter capable of working on own initiative.
* Flexible and adaptable in the work environment.
