About the Role
Trinity Motors Ardcavan is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Head of Parts & Accessories to lead and develop our multi-franchise parts department. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for operational performance, stock control, supplier relationships, team management, and profitability across four automotive brands.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our Aftersales, Service, and Sales departments while delivering an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
* This is a hands on front of house customer facing role dealing with the day to day provison of service to retail, trade and internal customers.
* Lead, manage, and develop the Parts & Accessories department across FIAT, JEEP, MAZDA, and PEUGEOT.
* Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high service standards and maintenance of SOP's
* Manage stock control, ordering, returns, and inventory accuracy to maximise availability and minimise obsolescence
* Drive departmental profitability through pricing strategies, sales initiatives, and cost control
* Build strong relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
* Support the Service and Workshop teams to ensure timely availability of parts
* Implement and monitor KPIs, budgets, and performance targets
* Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, warranty procedures, and health & safety requirements
* Lead, train, and motivate the parts team to achieve high performance and customer satisfaction
* Identify opportunities to grow parts and accessories sales, including retail, trade, and internal business.
* Experience with CDK/Keyloop an advantage.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in a senior Parts role within the motor industry (Head of Parts / Parts Manager / Senior Parts Advisor)
* Strong knowledge of automotive parts systems and manufacturer processes
* Experience managing multiple franchises is highly desirable
* Commercially focused with strong stock management and financial control skills
* Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
* Strong IT and dealer management system (DMS) experience
* Full driving licence.
