Job Summary
The Ambitious Team Leader plays a pivotal role in the support team, responsible for meeting the practical, physical, and emotional needs of individuals supported within the service. They will design individual support programs and coordinate their delivery by a group of Support Workers and themselves.
Key Accountabilities:
* Planning, coordinating, and implementing the safe transition of new individuals into the service and community where necessary.
* Liaising with families and relevant members of multi-disciplinary teams to promote the needs of individuals supported.
* Developing and implementing programs of support to enhance and maximize capabilities and independence.
* Ongoing assessment and review through the completion of suitable assessment models.
* Providing support to meet physical, emotional, and personal needs, ensuring that work is individual-focused and upholds principles of respect, privacy, dignity, fulfillment, independence, and choice.
* Administering medication according to statutory and legislative procedures.
* Providing effective leadership, supervision, and management to Support Workers, including monitoring time and attendance.
* Participating in learning and development, identifying and addressing personal development opportunities.
* Maintaining records and producing reports in line with organizational policy and statutory requirements.
* Ensuring regulatory compliance concerning all regulating bodies.
* Participating in the company appraisal process and adhering to company values.
