Software Engineering Leadership Role
The Opportunity:
We seek an experienced Software Engineer to join our team in expanding and improving our Engagement Channel solutions. Our collaborative environment is built on trust, respect, and open communication.
This team plays a crucial role in helping customers build and sustain cultures of gratitude. We design and deliver innovative solutions that enable our customers to spread recognition and celebration within their workplaces.
Tech Stack: Java 8, Python, Spring, RESTful webservices, ActiveMQ/Kafka, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, API, Oracle, Postgres, NoSQL DB, PL/SQL, JMeter, Jenkins, Sonar, Maven, Git, Docker/Containerization, JS and React based frameworks.
Your Impact:
1. You will have the opportunity to influence technical strategy led by Principal Engineers.
2. You will lead design and engineering activities for your squad, aligning with strategic objectives.
3. You will break down large features and epics into smaller items, enabling efficient work among your peers.
4. You will co-ordinate complex deployments and improve developer experience by introducing new ideas.
5. You will enable your team to work efficiently toward goals, such as prioritizing work and interpreting feedback.
Your Qualifications:
* Ideal 6+ years of back-end development experience.
* Experience developing web-based applications at the enterprise level.
* Strong problem-solving skills with ability to interpret data and business strategy.
* Experience mentoring others on best practices, latest updates, and fostering consistent coding styles.
* Experience introducing new dev/test/automation frameworks and driving adoption.
* Experience with Java or Python RESTful API design.
* AWS and cloud-first application experience is a plus.
* Front-end framework experience, especially React, is advantageous.
