Architectural TechnologistAbout Your New EmployerThis architecture and urbanism practice operates as part of a wider multidisciplinary studio with experience across multiple regions. Its work spans architecture, urban design, and master planning, with a strong focus on how buildings and public spaces support everyday life.The practice adopts a people-centred and context-driven approach, integrating sustainability, efficient land use, and long-term urban thinking into both individual buildings and larger regeneration frameworks. Projects range from residential and community buildings to strategic urban and campus plans, often involving collaboration with public bodies and local stakeholders.Overall, the studio prioritises thoughtful design, social value, and the creation of cohesive, well-functioning urban environments.About Your New JobTechnical Design and Drafting: As an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and specifications for various projects.Project Coordination: You will work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and deadlines are adhered to.Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and quality standards.Regulatory Knowledge: Stay up to date with Irish building regulations and ensure all projects adhere to these standards.Government Contracts: Handle government contracts, ensuring all documentation and designs meet the required specifications and standards.Healthcare Projects: Experience in healthcare projects is highly desirable, as you will be involved in designing and drafting for healthcare facilities.What Skills You NeedRelevant Qualifications: A degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or a related field.Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of technical drawings.Technical Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software.Regulatory Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of Irish building regulations and standards.Government Contracts: Experience in handling government contracts and ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.Healthcare Experience: Experience in healthcare projects is a plus.Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all technical drawings.What's on OfferCompetitive Salary: Attractive remuneration package between €50,000 & €60,000 based on experience.Professional Development: Opportunities for further training and career progression.Work-Life Balance: Flexible working hours and a supportive work environment.What's NextApply now by clicking the "Apply Now" button or call me, Thomas Hyland on If the job isn't quite right but you are looking for something similar, please get in touch.
