As part of our continued growth an exciting opportunity has arisen for the addition of an Automatic Door Technician to join our busy Service Department.
Key Responsibilities
* The repair, service and installation of door automation and access control systems to our many clients across the public and private sector
* Attending to callouts as an when required and have a flexible approach to working hours / area
* Recommending appropriate upgrades / repair work and advise the office of the requirements
Essential Requirements
* Fluent spoken and written English essential.
* 3 years' previous experience as a Service Engineer / Technician
* Working knowledge of various manufacturers automatic door products
* Ability to repair, service and install to a high standard
* Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams and plans.
* Be Competent in Using Battery powered drills, Hand tools etc
* A basic understanding of access control equipment – training will be given
* Good communication skills and ability to represent the company in a professional manner
* Hold a current or previously have held ADSA door safety accreditation
* Hold current Safe pass and Manual Handling certs
* Hold a current full clean driving license
* Consideration will be given to time served Electricians, Security Installation Engineers, Lift Engineers, etc – full training will be given
