We have a fantastic opportunity as a Sustainability Analyst here at AXA Ireland.
The Sustainability Analyst will work with the Sustainability Manager to support the integration of the sustainability strategy at AXA Ireland by assisting in continued development of the sustainability framework and contributing to stakeholder engagement efforts across the business.
This role will also include involvement in the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) workstream within the company.

You'll work majority of the week away from home.
Away from home means either attendance at one of our head office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.
What you'll be doing:
Raise customer awareness of sustainability activities at AXA and support sustainability initiatives to our customer base.
Collect, analyse, and interpret data related to sustainability, ensuring alignment with both Group and regulatory requirements.
Assist in the drafting and review of sustainability policies and procedures as required, ensuring they meet the standards set by the Environmental and Social Committee.
Monitor developments related to the CSRD and other relevant regulations, providing insights on compliance requirements and implications for AXA's reporting practices.
Coordinate communications and meetings with internal and external stakeholders, to discuss relevant requirements, share insights and track progress.
Support meetings, committees, events and initiatives related to sustainability, including preparation of materials for presentations and discussions.
Track the progress of Sustainability initiatives and contribute to the preparation of reports for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with internal and Group requirements.
Manage and support CSRD metrics collection as part of the CSRD working group, review and reporting.
What you'll need:
Minimum experience of 5 years in an insurance business environment, with at least 2 years in a sustainability function, with involvement in developing and implementing sustainability initiatives, reporting, and stakeholder engagement (essential)
Ideally previous exposure to managing sustainability-related projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring, which demonstrates the ability to lead initiatives effectively (desirable)
Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks such as the European Sustainability Reporting Directive (ESRS), the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and the EU Taxonomies.
Understanding how to report and measure sustainability performance is crucial
Operational CSRD knowledge
Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies to evaluate sustainability metrics and performance.
