Work Specifications
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Training: Full training will be provided by SystemCore through internal training modules, external training and CPDs.

Qualifications
Honours degree in a relevant engineering discipline
Chartered Engineering status is beneficial but not essential.
Experience
Strong technical ability in all aspects of building services engineering design and procurement
Working as part of a design team of Architects, Civil, Structural, Fire Consultant
Understanding of the design of building services, building codes and best practice engineering theory
Understanding of renewable technology trends, heat pumps, CHP, wind power and solar PV
Experience working with LEED V4 and BREEAM is a benefit but not essential
Excellent technical report writing skills
Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail
Strong computer skills, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Bluebeam
Experience delivering projects within live building environments
Ideally, candidates will have a flexible mindset and open to learning and continuing to develop their skills across a variety of clients and projects
Ability to lead multiple work streams and projects
Demonstrate ability to communicate directly with clients, sub-contractors, and project stakeholders
Ability to manage client expectations and communications throughout the delivery of the project
Roles and Responsibilities
Supporting Mechanical Services design on projects from concept stage to completion
Specification and design of Mechanical Building Services systems
Continuous Design & Installation Quality Checks and Control
Provide fully detailed tender packages / Tender report / analysis / recommendations
Develop project scope with design team / client
Uphold the Mechanical design standards within the organisation
• Mentoring of engineering staff
Production of options reports, analysis, and recommendations
Client relations and prospective presentations
Forecasting of resources; Engineering, Sustainability and CAD
Identification and implementation of technology trends including digital transformation, smart systems, and cloud computing
Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers
Attend weekly strategy meeting and reporting on project development to the senior management team
