Overview
A global medical device company is looking for a Senior Electrical Technician to join their Engineering team on a contract basis. The role delivers instrumentation work, centred around developing, building, and improving prototypes in a highly hands-on, fast-moving and dynamic troubleshooting environment. You will carry out senior-level electrical work while working alongside senior electrical engineers and operating with general direction rather than detailed instruction.
Responsibilities
Hands-on prototyping and troubleshooting
Use and maintenance of lab equipment and diagnostic tools
Perform senior electrical technician work within a medical device environment
Desirable skills
Medical device or similar
Experience with Piezo electricity

Details
The start date is ASAP. The initial contract is for 6 months, with multiple extension options. The role is based in Galway and will require 4-5 days onsite per week. The rate is €40-50 per hour, depending on experience. If you have any expenses, please let me know and I can factor that into the rate for you.
