We are seeking a proactive and professional Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our client's team in Grand Canal Dock. This is a fast-paced and varied role that requires strong communication, organisation, and multitasking skills. The successful candidate will play a key part in both front-of-house operations and supporting the broader administration team.
This position requires a high level of confidentiality, initiative, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills. You will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience while contributing to day-to-day administrative activities.
Key Responsibilities
Front of House / Reception
* Welcome and assist all visitors, clients, and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
* Manage the main switchboard, directing calls promptly and accurately.
* Maintain an organised, professional, and efficient reception area.
* Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier services.
* Oversee meeting room bookings and ensure rooms are prepared as required.
Administrative Support
* Provide general administrative assistance to the wider team.
* Process invoices and support basic financial administration tasks.
* Coordinate travel arrangements (domestic and international).
* Order office supplies, catering, and maintain stock levels.
* Support email correspondence and document handling.
* Assist with any ad hoc tasks or projects as required.
About You
* We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised, and committed to delivering excellent service. Essential requirements include:
* 3+ years' experience in a receptionist or administrative role within a corporate environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Professional telephone manner and customer-focused approach.
* Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and general office IT systems.
