Role: Environmental, Health & Safety Lead
We are seeking an experienced EHS professional to take ownership of our day-to-day health, safety, and environmental operations. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll shape policy, ensure compliance, and foster a culture of safety across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all Environmental, Health & Safety functions, ensuring compliance with legislation, certification standards, and company policy.
Drive continual improvement of safety systems, maintaining Safe-T-Cert and ensuring best-in-class standards.
Prepare and issue Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Safety Statements, and Construction Stage Plans.
Support subcontractors with safety compliance and integration into company practices.
Conduct regular site, office, and warehouse inspections and audits, reporting to senior management.
Deliver internal Health & Safety training to employees, sole traders, and contractors.
Collaborate with PM and Admin teams to streamline systems via Procore software.
Support tender submissions with EHS expertise.
Contribute to setting company safety objectives and KPIs, ensuring realistic, measurable progress.
What We’re Looking For
Health & Safety Degree or equivalent qualification.
2+ years of relevant EHS experience within the construction industry.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office; ISO experience an advantage.
