Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in designated areas, ensuring a clean and safe environment for staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
* Clean and disinfect restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and mirrors
* Empty trash bins and replace liners
* Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
* Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
* Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
* Ensure outdoor areas (entrances, walkways) are tidy
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
* Follow health and safety regulations and company policies
* Lock and unlock premises as required
Requirements:
* Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is preferred
* Ability to work independently and take initiative
* Good attention to detail
* Physical stamina and ability to lift/move cleaning equipment
* Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
* Reliable and punctual
* Legal right to work in Ireland
