Post Summary
A vacancy exists for an experienced professional in the position of Sportsturf & Landscape Maintenance Team Leader in the Campus Maintenance Team within the Estates and Facilities (E&F) Department of Trinity College Dublin. The purpose of the role is to plan and lead the provision of high-quality campus maintenance service across all campuses to the students, staff and visitors of Trinity College Dublin and its wider Estate.
The Sportsturf & Landscape Maintenance Team Leader will work with the existing Campus Maintenance Team Leader in leading an in-house team of approximately 15 staff, including a senior grounds person, grounds person, operatives, and craft gardeners. The Team Leader will provide cohesive oversight, leadership and supervision of the team and contracted external partners. The Team Leader will, as part of the Leadership Team for Campus Maintenance, deliver maintenance for all hard and soft landscaping, litter management, sports grounds, drainage, and Tree Collection on the estate.
Post status: Permanent
Hours of Post: 39 hours per week
Salary: Executive 1 Salary Scale (€55,049 - €65,380 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy.
