This is a brand new role and you will help underpin, and develop all things IT Infrastructure for this 50+ people organisation. For me, it is the perfect example of a greenfield site company, where you will have full ownership over all things IT.This role will ideally suits a hands on IT Manager or Lead who does not want to manage a team. You will be responsible for overseeing all internal IT operations, managing relationships with external technology providers, and leading cross-functional projects to support the company's digital transformation goals. This is a hands-on role that combines technical oversight with project leadership in a regulated financial services environment.THIS IS A BRAND NEW STANDALONE IT ROLEYOU WILL BE THE SOLE IT PERSON IN A 50+ PPL ORGANSATIONYOU WILL HAVE A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO PUT YOUR STAND ON THIS COMPANY'S IT INFRASTRUCTUREKey Responsibilities:IT ManagementServe as the primary contact for all internal IT queries and issues.Manage external IT vendors and service providers, ensuring quality and value.Oversee IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and core business systems (e.g., CRM, financial platforms).Maintain compliance with data protection and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR).Support ongoing system upgrades and digital transformation initiatives.Review and update IT policies and procedures as required.Project ManagementPlan, lead, and deliver strategic projects across various departments (e.g., compliance, finance, client services).Define project scopes, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.Track project progress and report status to senior management.Identify and mitigate project risks.Promote a culture of continuous improvement and change management.Skills & Experience:3–5 years' experience in IT management and/or project management, preferably within financial services.Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and vendor management.Demonstrated success delivering projects within scope, time, and budget.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR).Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile) desirable.Key CompetenciesAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independently.Comfortable in a hands-on, multi-functional role with strategic oversight.Experience with CRM platforms, financial software, and cloud technologies.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
