The Merrion, one of Dublin's finest luxury hotel and a Leading Hotel of the World is recruiting for a Chef de Rang. This is an exciting role, working in the beautiful Garden Room with a professional, vibrant and friendly team. You can be assured of a warm welcome!
Overseeing a group of waiting persons in your section, the role of the Chef de Rang includes:
* Maintaining an efficient communication with the management and the team.
* Carrying out training for new team members.
* Recognising VIP and regular guests.
* Taking and handling reservations and phone calls as per Merrion policy.
* Maintaining a positive attitude to guide the team through service.
Hours of work can be up to 39 per week. Shift work and weekend work is required.

The successful candidate will be a service driven individual, who loves to look after others. They will be professional and communicate courteously and effectively with guests and colleagues alike. A strong working knowledge of spoken and written English is required.

The Merrion, a member of the prestigious Leading Hotels of the World, is located opposite Government Buildings in the heart of the city centre. Created from 4 Georgian Townhouses, the 142 bedroom and suites are arranged around two 18th Century style gardens.
