We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Nurse Specialist (CAMHS ID) to join our team in delivering high-quality, recovery-oriented care for individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
\

1. To provide comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans to support the needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health disorders.
\
2. To work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective, integrated care and promote positive outcomes for individuals and their families.
\
3. To stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field of mental health and intellectual disability.
\
4. To participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
\
5. To contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote quality care and safety.
\
6. To collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to improve communication and coordination of care.

Requirements:

\
7. A registered nurse/midwife on the active Register of Nurses and Midwives held by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
\
8. Registration in the Psychiatric division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland register or eligibility for registration.
\
9. A minimum of 1 year's post-registration full-time experience in the Psychiatric division or aggregate experience equivalent to 1 year.
\
10. A minimum of 1 year's experience in the specialist area of CAMHS or Intellectual Disability or willingness to attain one year's clinical specialist experience.
\
11. SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF A POST REGISTRATION PROGRAM OF STUDY AT LEVEL 9 OR HIGHER RELEVANT TO THE SPECIALIST AREA OF CARE.

12. Continuing professional development (CPD) relevant to the specialist area or willingness to obtain the required CPD.
\
13. The ability to practice safely and effectively fulfilling his/her professional responsibility within his/her scope of practice.
